Pics of my Murphy Bed

I have to finish my reading room! This is really taking so much time. I think we started it in July 2004. Here is a shot of the partially finished bed. It is unpainted and in the "down" position. I can't read the date. I think the pic was taken in October 2005.

I am happy with the look of the bed. However, I am ecstatic with the reclaimed space. In 21 years, we only had 4 or 5 guests. But, the queen sized bed took over the whole room! I think the murphy bed is a real solution. I can now put a reading desk in the room. Dick is getting really irritated that the room is not finished. He is actually more upset than I am about the delay.
